Beam me up, Scotty! I’m done here!
So.
Let me understand this clearly, because, people like me are often not as astute as I’d like to be.
Wasting money on unnecessary vanity is more important than the health and safety of all you know and hold dear.
So.
These professionals, who probably initially honed their craft inside their homes before taking those skills public, cannot revert to that method. Why? Especially when the environment is more controlled?
I’m waiting for the logic.
But, back to the wasting of money.
I get it. Some people have more disposable income than others. Good for you. But, in these uncertain financial times, do you not think it prudent to spend that money on things you need versus things you want?
Hair salons, tattoo parlors, fricking bowling alleys, for heaven’s sake, are not the backbones of the US economy, and their reopening will not create the surge that these misguided politicians are expecting. Do not misunderstand – this is in no way diminishing the contributions of SBOs…but, seriously, people. What are we doing?
What they WILL do is add additional stress to these hospital employees who are already at their limits. We’re STILL waiting for an adequate, universal testing method.
So.
Instead of learning a new language, exercising, reading, understanding and practicing herbal medicine, spending quality time with your loved ones while they’re still on the planet, or learning to grow your own food…you’d rather get your hair cut or your nails done. Because your vanity is more important than your life. More important than anyone else’s, as well.
Good luck with that.
I know one thing this pandemic WILL do and IS currently doing – separating the chaff from the wheat.
